Before entering higher education, she worked as a software trainer for organizations including Target and MicroAge, helping professionals develop practical skills in Microsoft Office and related technologies. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Management with an emphasis in Information Technology and brings a strong academic and real-world foundation to her work. Kari is a retired Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), a Quality Matters Reviewer (QMR), and a retired Certified Computer Examiner (CCE). She is also the author of several Office software textbooks. Throughout her career, Kari has focused on helping learners cut through complexity, reduce frustration, and save time by learning only what they need, when they need it.
